Anne Bell, Clinical Assistant/Re-Care ManagementAnne was born and raised in Seattle, Washington and graduated from Dental Assisting School in 1963. She started her career for a dentist who worked with one employee only - he had Anne do all the clinical assisting as well as all of the front desk work, as was the style of practice in those days. During a break from her dental career, Anne spent some time working as a flight attendant for the now defunct Braniff Airlines out of Dallas, Texas. |

Anne retired from the profession for a few years to help raise a family. Her husband, Jim,
was a career Naval Officer, so she spent some time living in places such as Coronado, CA and Newport, RI, making 18 moves before settling in Virginia. Anne has three
children and five grandchildren. Kimberly and family live in the Netherlands, David and Family live in Frederick, Maryland and Marilyn and family live here. Jim is retired from the Navy and is currently selling Real Estate with Long and Foster.
Anne is Doctors Hauptman and Rowhani's employee of longest standing, having been with him for 20 years. She has worked at the front desk
and chair side and currently manages our continuing care program. The Doctors hope she can hang in there 20 more years!

Lesley Dodson, Clinical Assistant
Lesley was born in Detroit, Michigan and moved to New Smyrna Beach, Florida when she was twelve. After graduating from the Certified Dental Assisting Program at Daytona Beach Community College in 1995, she moved to Virginia. Dr. Hauptman hired her for her first job out of college. Except for a short break last year, Lesley’s smiling face has been with us ever since. She is excited to be back with our group whom she considers her family. |

In August 2005, Lesley married a longtime friend she had dated 14 years ago. Chris is from Toronto, Canada. Lesley, Chris, and her daughter, Olivia enjoy living in Ashburn. Lesley continues to support the Foster Care program (she has participated in the program as a Foster Mom) with public speaking engagements and helped pass a Virginia bill in 2003 giving foster parents legal standing. Lesley enjoys visiting family in Florida, organizing play groups with Olivia, and spending time with Chris!

Tasha Freeman, Clinical Assistant
Tasha was born in Little Rock, Arkansas and raised in the nearby small town of Dumas, which is approximately 30 miles outside of the capital. She moved to this area with her significant other, who is a Federal Air Marshall. Tasha graduated from dental assisting school in 2000 and has worked for us for over 4 years. She has many expanded function skills, and is enjoying learning more clinical and computer skills through the continuing education courses she attends with our office. We hope you enjoy getting to know Tasha during your visits. |

Tasha resides in Maryland with her two children, Shalandria and LaTierra, who are age 15 and 8 respectively. In her spare time, Tasha enjoys outdoor activities with her children.

Colleen Giantesano - Periodontal Therapy (Dental Hygienist)
Originally from Northeast Pennsylvania, Colleen moved here six years ago when her husband, Gino joined the US Capitol Police. Colleen has been a licensed dental hygienist for over 14 years, 4 of these years have been her at our office. She strives to provide thorough and gentle periodontal treatment while educating her patients on the importance of maintaining good dental health for their well being. |

Colleen enjoys spending time with her family. She has a beautiful 2 year old daughter, Lina, and a cute bulldog named Chesty.

Alla Lester - Clinical Assistant
Alla was born and raised in Keiv, Ukraine. She graduated from Kharkov Municipal Academy School of Economics (their football team is horrible, but they have an awesome ski team). Alla moved to the United States in 1998 and married her husband Cliff. Cliff and Alla have two wonderful boys, Steffan 8, and Blake who is 1 1/2. Alla obtained her dental assistant license in 2004 and has been working as a dental assistant in Northern Virginia area, except for a brief time in Virginia Beach.

In her spare time, Alla loves to travel and visit museums with her family. Alla is also excited to learn new skills, and is looking forward to providing all of our patients with excellent dental care.

Kathy Noonan, Periodontal Therapist
(Dental Hygienist)Kathy was born and raised in Dubuque, Iowa. Since her graduation from the University of Iowa, she has practiced in many locations throughout the United States due to her husband's naval career. She has spent the bulk of her time in Annapolis, Whidbey Island (WA), San Diego and here in Northern Virginia. |

Kathy has been working with Dr. Hauptman for over 13 years, and has been in the periodontal therapy (dental hygiene) profession for over 35 years! She is a member of the Northern Virginia Dental Hygienist Association and continues to be enthusiastic and dedicated to her profession and patient care.
Kathy and her husband, Tom, have two children. Their son Pat, age 30, lives with his wife Samantha outside of Seattle, WA. Their daughter Sarah, age 28, is in graduate school in San Diego studying clinical psychology and will be getting married in September 2008. Kathy's hobbies include gardening, reading, travel, cooking and keeping her older dog fit via frequent walks. She wants to know who is keeping who fit?

Kimberly Anne Forrest - Practice Manager
Kim was born and raised near Pittsburgh, PA. After graduating from WVU with a B.A. in Communication Studies and Psychology, she moved to the D.C. area.
Kim has spent many years employed in the insurance and medical fields as an insurance specialist and administrator. Kim is also an established realtor, and has practiced extensively in the Northern Virginia area. |

Kim shares her life with her 14 year old son Joshua, and Birman cat, Zoe. Kim's hobbies include traveling, the theatre, interior design, landscaping, antiques, exercise, fitness and creating stained glass.

Carol Simpson - Front Office Coordinator/ReceptionistCarol Simpson is our front office "director of first impressions." She has been a patient of the practice since 2001, so she knew what she was getting into when she joined our staff in March 2008.
Carol has bachelor's and master's degrees from Georgetown University, but as one of her "big" birthdays approached, she decided to start a new career in health administration by going back to school at NVCC.

Prior to joining Dr. Hauptman and Dr. Rowhani, Carol was office manager for a pediatric occupational and physical therapy practice.
Carol and her husband, Dale, love to (safely) ride motorcycles and are building a second home in Culpeper, Virginia. Their daughter, Elizabeth, is a teacher at Cooper Middle School and a grad student at Marymount University. They have lived in Falls Church for thirty years.
Carol is excited to learn about dentistry and is looking forward to meeting and assisting you.
