For some, Invisalign braces are an ideal alternative to traditional braces. The aligners are made of clear plastic and can be used to change your smile at a gradual pace without that metal-mouth look associated with braces.
What can Invisalign do for me?
Invisalign braces have been shown to close gaps between teeth, make crowded teeth appear more evenly aligned, and correct teeth that have shifted out of place over time.
Will Invisalign limit what I can eat or do?
Not in any meaningful way. Patients who use Invisalign may remove them to brush and floss, and they can still enjoy their favorite foods without worry. Meanwhile, the aligners gently alter the teeth for a more beautiful smile.
What does the treatment involve?
When the Invisalign treatment begins, we take an impression of your teeth, as well as digital photo and x-ray images. Once this information is collected, complex software analyzes the data gathered to generate a series of aligners specific to your mouth and dentition. The aligners should be worn as often as possible – around 23 hours a day – but they can be taken off for meals and special occasions.
Is Invisalign right for me?
You and your dentist can decide that, together.
