Our own Colleen Giantesano, hygienist, just completed her first 5K!  Congratulations, Colleen, we knew you could do it!

You may have seen media coverage of a Yale study on x-rays.  It has always been our policy to take as few x-rays as possible.  Our x-rays have been digital since 2008; digital x-rays expose us to much less radiation than the previous types.  We protect you with a lead shield, including a thyroid cover.  Though there could be a risk with dental x-rays, remember that there is a risk also in NOT having x-rays -- that disease (decay, abscess, etc.) could be undetectable to visual examination only.

Dr. Rowhani and Carol Simpson just returned from the National Capital Dental meetings.  Lots of great new information was brought back to be shared with the whole staff. 

Dr. Hauptman is now in the midst of going to "Level Five" in his OBI (Bioesthetic Dentistry) program.  This will give him even greater knowledge in the area of TMJ pain/disease and occlusal (bite) issues.

Upcoming events:  Carol's daughter is getting married in May; Diana's baby is due in July; and Dr. Hauptman is taking a bike trip across the Alps in June
